About The Conference
The problem of environmental pollution in my country is still serious, and environmental chemistry research is developing rapidly, and new progress has been made in the detection of chemical pollutants, environmental behavior, evolution trends, ecological effects, toxicology and health risks, and control technologies. The main content and scope of the conference are to further exchange the latest achievements in environmental chemistry research, explore the strategic direction of environmental chemistry development, promote the innovation of environmental chemistry research, and make outstanding contributions to the protection of the ecological environment, human health and sustainable social and economic development. Our country's environmental chemistry circle is full of stars and newcomers emerge in large numbers, and has already occupied an important place in the international academic circle. In order to further exchange the latest achievements in environmental chemistry research, explore the strategic direction of environmental chemistry development, and promote the innovation of environmental chemistry research, after the research of the Environmental Chemistry Professional Committee of the Chinese Chemical Society and the Environmental Chemistry Branch of the Chinese Society of Environmental Sciences, it was decided that Zhejiang University will host the "No. The 9th National Conference on Environmental Chemistry (9th NCEC) will be held on October 19-22, 2017 at the Zijingang Campus of Zhejiang University.
This conference is a continuation of the biennial environmental chemistry conference organized by the "Environmental Chemistry Professional Committee of the Chinese Chemical Society". The first eight conferences were held in Hangzhou (organized by Zhejiang University) in 2002, Shanghai (organized by Shanghai Jiaotong University) in 2003, Xiamen (organized by Xiamen University) in 2005, Nanjing (organized by Nanjing University) in 2007, and held in 2009 in Dalian (organized by Dalian University of Technology), 2011 in Shanghai (jointly organized by Fudan University, Shanghai Normal University and Shanghai Jiaotong University), 2013 in Guiyang (organized by the Institute of Geochemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences), 2015 in Guangzhou (South China University of Technology) held. These conferences have received positive responses from colleagues in environmental chemistry in my country.
