郝吉明

清华大学环境学院教授,中国工程院院士

能源与环境、大气污染控制工程

主要研究领域为能源与环境、大气污染控制工程。主持全国酸沉降控制规划与对策研究,划定酸雨和二氧化硫控制区,为确定我国酸雨防治对策起到了主导作用;建立了城市机动车污染控制规划方法,推动了我国机动车污染控制进程;并深入开展大气复合污染特征、成因及控制策略研究,发展了特大城市空气质量改善的理论与技术,推动了我国区域性大气复合污染的联防联控。获国家科技进步一等奖1项、二等奖2项,国家自然科学二等奖1项,省、部级科技进步一等奖4项,二等奖5项,获2015年度哈根-斯密特清洁空气奖(Haagen-Smit Clean Air Awards),成为中国大陆首位获得该奖的科学家。 

Jiming Hao, Professor at Tsinghua University School of Environment, member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering  

Professor Hao's research on energy and environment, especially air pollution control, is internationally recognized. He has led several nationwide research projects on acid deposition, which identified the control zones for acid rain and sulfur dioxide, and played a leading role in guiding policy principles for acid rain control in China. 

Professor Hao is also one of the leading experts in motor vehicle pollution control, who established the control planning system and initiated the national vehicle emission control program in China. His in-depth studies on the characteristics, causes, and control strategies of combined air pollution promoted the development of a joint action plan on regional air quality preservation and pollution control. He has received the first- and second-class National Science and Technology Progress Awards, the second-class National Natural Science Award, and multiple Science and Technology Progress Awards at the provincial level. In 2015, he became the first Chinese recipient of the Haagen-Smit Clean Air Award.                

  
           

David L. Sedlak

加州大学伯克利分校市政与环境工程系教授, 美国工程院院士(NAE)

主要研究城市水循环中微量有机污染物的迁移途径,传统和先进污水处理厂废水中的化学污染物的转化途径,水环境中类固醇激素的迁移途径,研发定义和治理地下水和土壤中的有机污染物的新方法等。著有“Water 4.0”一书,探讨了如何通过了解城市水系的历史来了解当前的水问题。曾获2014年Clark奖,美国国家科学院Gilbreth工程讲师称号,Fulbright高级学者称号(澳大利亚),Paul L. Busch应用水研究奖。 

David L. Sedlak, Plato Malozemoff Professor at UC Berkeley Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. He is currently the editor-in-chief of the journal Environmental Science & Technology (ES&T), and the deputy director of the National Science Foundation’s Engineering Research Center for Re-Inventing the Nation’s Urban Water Infrastructure (ReNUWIt).                 

Professor Sedlak's research focuses on the transport of trace organic contaminants in the urban water cycle, the fate of chemical contaminants in conventional and advanced wastewater treatment processes (e.g., steroid hormones), and the development of novel remediation techniques for groundwater and soils contaminated by organic pollutants. His book "Water 4.0"examines the ways in which we can gain insight into current water issues by understanding the history of urban water systems. He has received the Athalie Richardson Irvine Clarke Prize for Excellence in Water Research, the US National Academy of Engineering Gilbreth Lecturer award, the Fulbright Senior Scholar Award (Australia), and the Paul L. Busch Award for innovative water research.

邹志刚

南京大学教授,中国科学院院士

南京大学环境材料和再生资源研究中心主任,教育部“长江学者奖励计划”特聘教授,国家重点基础研究发展计划973项目首席科学家

长期从事材料物理材料化学及新能源方面的研究,发现新超导材料PrBa2Cu3Ox并阐明其超导机制;开发可见光光催化材料并推广其在光解水制氢和环境净化方面的应用。在Nature,Phys. Rev. Lett.,J. Am. Chem. Soc. 等国际一流期刊上发表论文300多篇,他引超1万次。曾获江苏省科学技术一等奖和国家自然科学二等奖。 

Professor Zhigang Zou, director of the Eco-materials and Renewable Energy Research Center at Nanjing University. He is a member of the National Academy of Science, a Yangtze River Scholar, the chief scientist of the National Program on Key Basic Research Project of China (973 Program), and the leading scientist of the Innovative Research Team supported by the Ministry of Education in China.

Professor Zou has a long academic career in material physics and chemistry, and renewable energy studies. He discovered the superconducting material PrBa2Cu3Ox and unraveled its superconducting mechanisms. He also expanded the applications of photocatalysis materials in water purification and solar hydrogen production. He has published more than 300 research papers with over 10,000 citations on journals including Nature, Phys. Rev. Lett., and J. Am. Chem. Soc. He is a recipient of the second-class National Science and Technology Progress Award, and the first-class Science and Technology Progress Award in Jiangsu Province.                

  
           

Bruce E. Logan

美国宾州州立大学教授,美国工程院院士(NAE)

Logan教授是国际微生物电化学研究领域的领军人物,致力于开发新的微生物电化学技术,实现水处理过程的能源可持续性。他发明了微生物电解池可持续产氢、低压脱盐技术和微生物反向电渗析技术,在环境传质学、环境污染修复、环境生物化学技术等领域取得了突出成绩。曾任Environ. Sci & Technol 常务副主编。 获得奖项包括Clarke奖、Paul L. Busch奖、可再生能源Frank Annuzi奖、美国环境工程与科学教授协会研究前沿奖、全美机理突破奖等。 

Professor Bruce E. Logan, Evan Pugh Professor at the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, and the director of the Engineering Energy & Environmental Institute at Penn State University. He is a member of the National Academy of Engineering, a fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), and currently serves as the editor-in-chief of the journal Environmental Science & Technology Letters. Professor Logan is one of the leading pioneer in microbial fuel cell (MFC) research. He has devoted his scientific career to develop MFC and microbial reverse electrodialysis technologies for achieving energy sustainable water and wastewater treatment, who also made significant contributions in areas of environmental transport processes, pollution remediation, and environmental biotechnology. Professor Logan has received numerous awards and honors, including the Clarke Award, the Paul L. Busch Award, the Frank Annuzi Award for renewable energy, the Association of Environmental Science and Engineering Professors (AEESP) Frontier in Research Award, and the Popular Mechanics Breakthrough Award.

陈君石

国家食品安全风险评估中心研究员,中国工程院院士

我国食品毒理学学科的创始人之一,是国内外享有盛誉的营养和食品安全专家。

陈院士在硒与克山病研究、'中国膳食、生活方式和疾病死亡率关系研究'、中国总膳食研究等领域均取得了世人瞩目的成就,被世界卫生组织誉为发展中国家开展总膳食研究的典范。2001年以来作为国家重大科技专项“食品安全关键控制技术”专家组组长,开创了由我国牵头起草国际食品标准的先河。曾获施瓦茨国际奖、卫生部科技进步一等奖(第一作者)及中国标准创新贡献终身成就奖等。 

Professor Junshi Chen is a senior research professor at the Institute of Nutrition and Food Safety at the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention. He is a member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, a world renowned professor in nutrition and food safety, and one of the founders of the subject Food Toxicology in China. Professor Chen has made remarkable achievements in studying Keshan disease, “Diet, life-style, and mortality in China”, and Chinese total dietary. His work has been recognized by the World Health Organization as a model of total dietary studies in developing countries. As the head of the National Science and Technology Major Project “Key technology for food safety control” since 2001, Professor Chen and his team have initiated the participation of China in international standardization processes for food safety. He has received numerous awards including the Schwarcz award, the first-class Science & Technology Award of Ministry of Health in China, and the Lifetime Achievement Award for China Standards Innovation and Contribution.

Shane Snyder博士

美国亚利桑那大学化学和环境工程教授,兼土壤与水环境科学联合教授

主要研究领域为新兴水污染物的识别、迁移和健康相关性。曾三次受邀就新型水质问题向美国国会提交报告,曾任美国环保署(USEPA)专家小组成员,目前担任美国环保署科学顾问委员会成员,世界卫生组织(WHO)饮用水咨询组成员,美国国家科学院国家研究委员会水资源再利用委员会的成员,国际水协会会员。已发表关于新型污染物分析、治理和毒理学的论文和著作章节超过150篇。 

Dr. Shane Snyder is a Professor of Chemical & Environmental Engineering at the University of Arizona, and holds joint appointments in the College of Agriculture and Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health. He co-directs the Arizona Laboratory for Emerging Contaminants (ALEC) and the Water & Energy Sustainable Technology (WEST) Center, and currently serves as an editor-in-chief for the international journal Chemosphere. Professor Snyder’s research focuses on the identification, fate, and health relevance of emerging water pollutants. He has been invited to brief the Congress of the United States on three occasions on emerging issues in water quality. He has served on several US EPA expert panels and is currently a member of the EPA’s Science Advisory Board drinking water committee. He was recently appointed to the World Health Organization’s Drinking Water Advisory Panel and was a member of the US National Academy of Science’s National Research Council Committee on Water Reuse. Professor Snyder has published over 150 manuscripts and book chapters on emerging contaminant analysis, treatment, and toxicology.
